Riverside Native Perennials was established in late 2020 to give consumers increased access to high quality native perennials grown here in central Ohio. Growing perennials seemed like a natural offshoot of our native tree and shrub business so we decided to take the plunge into this new business. Currently, we have nearly 200 species of native perennial seeds that are going through stratification to be ready for spring planting.

One of the areas that we're concentrating on is providing milkweeds native to Ohio and other parts of the United States. As the primary food source for Monarch butterflies milkweeds are invaluable for sustaining their populations which are in decline. So far we have collected and purchased 35+ species of milkweed seeds from local sources and from all over the United States. Some will undoubtedly be at home in your landscape but others may need to be grown in a large container and a few will need to be considered annuals.

We offer perennials via mailorder, pick up, or shop in person.  We also offer a number of fundraiser options if you are looking for a creative way to generate funds for your organization.
