Description:

Swallowtail Demonstration Site for Native Plants and Natural Landscaping
100+ Species of Ohio Region/Eastern U.S. native plants.

Swallowtail Native Plants of Ohio is an enterprise focusing on helping others discover the marvels of native plants and wildlife. This will inspire them to plant natives in their own yards–residential, commercial and industrial. Our motto is “Restoration through Education”. Our Ohio certified native plant landscapes and wildlife habitat is located near Louisville, Ohio in the Akron / Canton area.

We host guided tours for groups and we have self-guided tours of our 2.5-acre property. Seeing is believing and people get WOWed and want to take something home for their yard. Children of all ages can pick flowers and seeds and do serious nature photography. We also have fresh and dried flower arrangements. Berries, grapes, and apples are available in season. We have gifts of small seed packets for kids 14 and under.

We have 100+ varieties of Ohio grown native plants and seeds available. Many of the most popular plants and seed mixes are in stock or can be special ordered. The grand opening will last from May through July 2020. Read all about it at http://e-fleet.us/plants

David M. Augenstein, ChE, M.Sc., P.Eng., is a co-founder and is available as a design consultant. With 45 years in the environmental engineering profession, he still consults with industrial and commercial clients on general environmental issues.
